The brand new compilation,Tell Everybody!, features legendary blues masters alongside breakthrough newcomers, including a never-before-heard track, "No Lovin'," by The Black Keys. The track list varies from masters like Louisiana powerhouse Robert Finley, North Mississippi’s RL Boyce, Betonia’s Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, and the Delta gospel sounds of Leo Bud Welch; to brilliant youngbloods like Detroit duo Moonrisers, Chicago’s Gabe Carter, and Korean-American Kentucky native Nat Myers. Included in today's release is another song from the late Ohio blues hero Glenn Schwartz, whose track "Daughter of Zion" featuring Joe Walsh was featured as a single. Schwartz, famously an early member of James Gang, was a guitar mentor for both Auerbach and Walsh alike.
American Songwriter wrote in their review, "This is a powerful, insistent collection of artists laying down a murky groove that few contemporary artists get right. Credit producer/auteur Auerbach, who understands, appreciates, and is inspired by the music these non-commercial artists make and uses his capacity as a high-profile star to share it with the world.” Click here to stream the brand new album now!
