Jeremie Albino announces his Easy Eye Sound debut album with "Rolling Down The 405"

Jeremie Albino’s story began on a farm in rural Ontario, where trips to sell produce in Toronto quickly turned into busking on the city’s streets. Now, he embarks on his next chapter with his upcoming Dan Auerbach-produced album, Our Time In The Sun. Today, he has released the first look from his upcoming album, "Rolling Down The 405." Together, Albino and Auerbach crafted a song capturing the restless spirit of the open road with Albino’s lyrical precision and heartfelt delivery. Click here to stream the new song now!

Albino's back-and-forth with passersby - and those special moments when he would earn their attention - sparked a love of performing, one that he eventually channeled into galvanizing live shows. Soon enough, those live shows would become his profession - and farming his hobby - as he earned more-and-more chances to perform across the United States and Canada, sharing stages with artists like Orville Peck, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Shovels & Rope, and Sierra Ferrell.

As he began work with Dan Auerbach on Our Time In The Sun, the two workshopped ideas and listened to old 45s in Nashville, Auerbach introduced him to some of the city’s finest players and songwriters. "Something clicked right away," says Albino of that experience, "and we ended up writing 4 or 5 songs a day. Before that, it would take me half a year to write 4 or 5 songs." The results are sharp and observant originals defined by clever turns of phrase and emotional nuance; tapping into Southern psychedelia and the blues-rock of the 60s to tell tales of love gone sour, struggling with the bottle, and a life defined by work. "I feel like I learned so much about myself and what I’m capable of," says Albino of creating Our Time In The Sun. " This record is the most myself I think I’ve ever sounded. I’m more comfortable in my own skin now than ever before.” Click here to pre-save and pre-order the upcoming album now.
