Atlanta-bred guitarist, singer and songwriter Eddie 9V is back full force this week with a brand new song, music video, and 2027 tour dates! The new track, "Satisfy The Way I Do," Eddie 9V describes as "Another song I wrote and demoed in my home studio. Working with Dan [Auerbach] was key—he smoothly came up with the hook I needed. This song makes me feel like I’m driving in a ’65 Mustang through the Hollywood Hills." The song evolved as Eddie 9V and Auerbach traded records and ideas, including their mutual love of Derek and the Dominos’ "Layla." The result is a soulful, guitar-driven track that reflects the broader musical palette of Down Here, where Southern rock, blues, country, gospel, folk and R&B collide without much concern for genre lines. "It was fast and fluid. Dan really knows how to push me," Eddie 9V says."Realistically, it was also the first time where I was able to be an artist rather than to have to act like a producer, too, and think of everything else."
The new track follows the previously released singles, "Rock Your Baby," "Blowin' Up," and "Whole Lot Coming For You," from the Dan Auerbach-produced album, Down Here, arriving November 6.
Eddie 9V announced this week new 2027 Tour Dates kicking off in Greenville, SC on January 15 and extending through Denver, CO on February 27, which follow his current U.S. Fall Tour Dates that will make stops through Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, and more.
