Jeremie Albino has returned today with the title track to his upcoming album, “Our Time In Sun,” a gripping heartbreak ballad that showcases his unique ability to “put everyone in the room at ease and bring people together with his music”- as it’s been described by Dan Auerbach.
Albino says, “One of my favorite songs in the world is ‘I Wish Someone Would Care.’ It’s such a strong and simple ballad. When Dan and I got together to write songs for the record, I had that in mind—trying to write a ballad with that feeling of heartache. It’s simple but hard-hitting. It turned out to be my favorite song on the record, just one of those love and heartache songs I’ve always wanted to write. The band really took the song and cooked with it right out of the gate, just grooving and feeling good.
